solar solutions

does or did anyone tint smallplanes or corporate jets.whats the going rate?

tintdude

charge em a butt load!

same with boats in a harbor, very time consuming!

Boats on dry land suck too.

i've only had one guy wanting me to his. it was a over wing one seater. i went and looked at it, laughed real hard and got back in the car and left. i suppose a jet would be easier. i'd check with the manufactuerer first, most of those have two glasses, might become a problem.

DontWorryItWillDry

Tell the rich a$$ bastard ya won't charge a damn thing. But he owes you a flight in Nov. to pick up TD (and me) to take him to Vegas for SEMA.

solar solutions

i love that one

powertints

BE VERY CAREFUL ON THIS ONE!!!!!!! Unless this is an expeiremental aircraft EVERYTHING that is done to that plane or ANYTHING that is added to that plane MUST be FAA approved!!!!!!!! Get documentation that proves or releases you from liability BEFORE you touch the aircraft.

powertints

EXACTLY.... F-up on this one and it won't be no 10k fine from the state, it will be the feds knockin on your door!!! That could seriously SUCK!!

smokymtntint

cling film only! show the guy how to do it. charge road fee.

GusTheTinter

arn't the passenger windows on those plexiglass

pmuzik

I was thinking along the same lines gus I don't think they are glass some kind of plixi or polycarbonate i beleive. I think powertints got it right though if a problem should occur it would not be a good thing to be on the receiving end of the fallout
