ok, since i'm so ignorant, would someone plese explain this whole 'remove the felts' thing?? does the door panel have to come off? what exactly is involved? thanks.

On some cars, the felt is attached to a rubber piece that fits around the window frame so that when the window comes up it seals agains it etc....obviously this doesn't apply to pillar-less doors
On these cars, depending on the model you can pull out this rubber/felt thereby giving you more room to tint and less contamination

well, i usually don't have a problem with the bottom ones, i just slide them back and the fint just moseys on down, but i was just wondering what people are talking about when they say they remove the felts. once removed the window gets tinted as ususal?? then when finished, how do you put them back in?? roll it down? have joe customer come back in a week? just wondering. thanks guys

some cars side felts come right out easily, the bug is probably the most famous, but not all cars do this, you just have to experiment and see which ones do and which ones dont.
