To install the snap off knife animated cursor, unzip the file knifecur.zip into your 'My Documents' folder, it will create a folder called 'knife cursors' with 4 files inside,

knifenorm.cur
knifework.ani
knifebusy.ani
readme.txt. (a copy of these instructions)

Next go to the windows control panel and click on 'mouse' or 'printers and other hardware' then click mouse.

Click the 'pointers' tab.

Highlight 'Normal select' then hit the browse button.

In the pull down menu hit 'My documents' then 'knife cursor' then click on knifenorm.cur and hit the 'open' button.

The knife cursor is now installed for 'normal select'.

Next install the 'working in background' cursor by following the above steps with the file called knifework.ani.

Next install the 'Busy' cursor named knifebusy.ani.

Hit Apply and you are done.
