Microfiber Towels

FinishingTouch

What kind do you buy, where do you buy them from, and how much are you spending. I've visited a few forums that have collaberated a bulk buy situation, which seems to work out OK, as long as everyone is honest and actually pays for thier items.

TintDude

I just get them from the hardware store dunno.gif

I don't use them at all during tinting, basicly, i just used clean, dry ones to go over glass i just cleaned to get the streaks off. I found that after the first few uses, they lost effectiveness, also they are useless unless absolutely dry. dunno.gif maybe i'm using them wrong, but i don't even bother with them anymore.

Micro towels have to be washed in hot water before you ever use it,this helps break them in,then they need to be a tad bit damp to work on windows, then go back with dry one to finish wipeing ,remember hot water wash first! the right look .com and detailplus have good deals on quality ones in quanity smile.gif I have huge micro towels for drying cars downalso but until the get a tad bit damp they arnt worth a crap either. Also wash window rags seperate washer than chemical rags if not, Ihave always had problems with streaking thumb.gif

Have you tried the ones designed for windows? They are awsome!

You can't tell from the picture but these towels almost look like velvet. Everyone who has bought them from me absolutely loves them.
