Anyone have recommendations on how to take care of rubber parts and engine bay cleaning.

After cleaning with foam engine cleaners from your parts store ,spray off engine while running ,let dry then spray Son of a gun tire cleaner and protectant on your engine bay area,do this after engine has cooled down The professional detailer will steam clean your engine ,blow off xcess water and use a waterbased dressing that is meant for the hoses and such!Warnings 'there are cars like volkswagen and some fords that if you dress the engine with silicone supplimented product it can short out the 02 senser.never use solvent type dressing they have a low flash point and could start a fire.Always cover vital electrical parts before tempting any of the above.

I got wax on some plasticand it won't come off it was black on new toyota roof and now chalky??

Expert try some mothers back to black with a tooth brush after cleaning with vinyl cleaner.should be back to new condition
