Sprinter

I love it, no more detailing for me thoughs pics tell the story too much time too little pay and cleaning someone eleses crapy car!

bandit

Could you even ride in this back seat and not worrying about catching something

I got payed 170.00 for this car and it took me the same amount of time it takes to tint, you forget Im 42 and a newby tinter

Your basic tools are the air hose and attachment and the best brush for detailing is a parts brush as in pic.Forget the things you see attached to a wooden handle, they want last and handle the tuff chems and water.Tip when using air, keep half the volume for dash area so you dont blow off something thats loose.Just enough to get chem and dirt out of cracks

I'm 42 also and have stopped detaling for consumers only do my own stuff now, wet sanded and polished my sons hood today on his truck I'll be doing the rest of the truck as time permits,

that back seat is horrendis, catch something yes!

As you can see the door looks great now,First thing I did was spray whole door panel with interior cleaner ,then use micro rag to srubb panel and use brush to get in corners,Next take air and blow all cracks and door toward bottom and wipe with fresh micro ragg.Any scuffs on bottom of door can be removed with laquer thinner and rag, test area first.Next to drivers area .Tip.. clean all rubber area around window and door seal now

I clean all the drivers area vinyl with air and brush,on these areasit takes skill not to remove writing so be careful spraying cleaner and brushing The steering wheel, will have grease from holding wheel tight so look behind the wheel and clean by turning back and forth..Clean headliner then carpet ,then seat and all the console you have acess to.Next clean all the seat area of passenger side you can get too from drivers side .Mainly the edge and side thats facing you.

When I do the carpet and seats on one this bad ,I will spray an enzyme that eats coffee and such up prior to starting the interior cleaning, this way by the time its ready to do carpet and seat it will have time to start working.I use steam first to bring everything to top of material and then wipe with cleaner and micro towel.

TIP...beore you start anything ,vacum and blow out all the dirt you can ,especially under seats and in the seat tracks and seat cracks around back window ,blow out all the bugs stuck behind 3rd brake light.Next we go to drivers back seat area ,we will do the same with back seat area and door panel and back of drivers seat.

While in the back seat clean all surrounding trim and back tray area you can reach, back of console ect Then do the same for passenger back ,then passenger front ,when done you should have nothing left to do but one last vacum and do the windows. If you use this method you will only be walking around the vehicle twice instead of 10 to 20 times This method takes some organization to do but works.

Using steam will not cause wicking like a machine Extracter will do, if your PH is to high and you over wet.If your ever cleaning the beige or white interiors or light grey and all of a sudden every thing turns brown like invisable stains start appearing, then your ph is to high and you need to use a chemical that has a yellowing or browning agent in it.If the interior has grease in the carpet use a little mineral spirits if it dosnt come out or better yet use Stoners Tarmenater and scrubb with micro rag

When I pull out side I spray the pedals with a black vinyl and rubber dye to make them look new ,then if any dye work is needed it will be done in the light outside.Place mats in the paper mats .Ready for pick up.Tip... if car is still wet inside turn heater on to the floor position and let run 30 minutes without floor mats in. Check under seats and check windows for streaking when outside

SoFresh&SoClean

Bandit this car would've given me a heart attack. You did a really good job on it though. And for $170, good money.

bandit - the car looks good. The thing that worries me is that you may not be charging enough. If you got $170 for the interior only then good job. If that included any exterior work then it doesnt seem like enough money.
