Disclaimer / Service Agreement

Q: I'm curious if anyone here has any Service Agreement they have signed prior to an install. I had a problem with a Dealer and lost a fair amount of money. I think if i had some sort of contract or Service Agreement i would have been in better shape.

I havent had any problems with private owner installs, but dealers im starting to see are "difficult" when it comes to paying.

A: I've had problems with dealers in the past, but it was for parts, not necessarily the PP install. I'd also like to know if anyone has any samples or something they care to share. I'm also trying to write up warranty on the product/installation and looking for suggestions on that as well.

A: We do a good amount of dealer work here. I find that in general we just take care of the dealer and their customer if they are not satisfied. We do whatever we can to satisfy them. The dealers are a great resource for business. It can be frustrating at times to meet their demands but honestly after you get through the initial getting to know what the dealer expects, and doing your best to meet those expectations, you will find that the problems become fewer and fewer and the relationship can be quite profitable. I would suggest giving the dealer a warranty based on your film manufacturer warranty. If you are using good film you should not hear from that customer after they are satisfied with the install.
