I don't use 20" rolls anymore, but when I did, I'd take the roll out of the box and hold it in my hands. To store them, I'd fasten the roll ends that hold them in the box to the top of a work bench like this and stand the rolls up on them. this kept them from falling over and I didn't have to take them out of boxes all the time. Then, I put labels on the wall above them so I'd know which roll was which.

The problem I had with that is I hate taping the rolls back up and if I didnt then the wind would be blowing it all over :booga but its still cool...I know someone that does that still...I'll take a pic of my bench where the tint box is actually a 'drawer' for the roll.
