Door Dinger
|
Introducing the idea of how to have the key in the ignition to operate the windows on a Ford, doors open, without the door dinger going the entire time... And I don't know what other cars it will work on... You trip the door latch to the closed position in the driver door... apparently, some (or all Ford) cars have the key in ignition/door open sensor triggered by the door latch. That Taurus I spoke of PPF milky headlight fix in the other thread... well it was driving us crazy today during training and a 12-volt guy went over and flip the latch to the closed position and... peace and quiet at last. |

Now it would be a thoughtful thing to do for those customers who wait while I tint. I can tell it's driving them nutz wanting to reach for those keys.
