Shrinking over sticker

Today I was trying just as practice to do my whole windshield in 45% just practicing to get better with curves..I have a 00 s10 but I have a dual layed vinyl sticker..when I'm Shrinking the sticker messes with how the film shrinks...any help

Remove the sticker, make sure there is nothing on the outside of the glass when you shrink.

Clean, Dirt Free before even laying your film down.

ya im sure theres other ways then removing the sticker because I am definitly not removing it.theres gota be another way

just shrink it....the sticker will not effect the actual install that much. Doesn't hurt my installs at least....

:smoker I've done it a lot myself. It makes the film look all jacked up, but you just need to let the heatgun do the work more, and then squeegee the film down after its 99% shrunk to stick it down.

I've shrunk over many a sticker, with no problems. The film looks funny on the outside, but once you install it its fine

Just tonight I was shrinking over a Flame sticker and it started to do some funky finger stuff, being new I panicked a little but thought to myself..."Lets see what happens". Wet checked it, removed film and put it to the glass......and NO PROBLEM. Like the others said here, it should be fine....it was for me but it was also the first time I did it over a sticker. Just keep in mind though...I'm a rookie so take my advice accordingly..ha ha!

ya thats what was happening it did some funky weird finger looking thing.I paniced and ripped it off.listening to you guys it sounds fine
