Side rear window question

i was wondering how far the tint goes on the rear side window. they have dots and then a black space all the way around... how far does the tint go? stops at dots? just past dots? or onto the black space? thanks heres a homemade picture.

Hope it's not an Acura you're tinting...or the like. Where the glass will "grow" on the inside... But, it'll be a learning experience!

Thats was I alway do, unless there less room inside, I'll cut even closer. It seems it reduces the chance of the film curling and looks cleaner.
