Anybody know of a good color stable, carbon, dyed/nr film that has a higher tser comparable to Suntek's Carbon? Theirs is great but scratches all the time very easily.

Hi Gary,

You will find that the Classic Charcoal has a higher TSEr through the overall range than Carbon.

You will also need to meter the films on glass to compare actual VLT readings as the Carbon has a lower VLT than it's specs when applied.

Price is comparable, quality, usability and longevity is very strong. Higher levels of service, experience and knowledge from Express.

Hope this helps.

Hmmm, if all fall in and around LLumar's ATC, then someone is fudging theirs.

ST carbon became less carbon and more about dyed when CXP came to market.

Seems like Carbon is just a better film than ATC, performance and price wise. Minus the scratch coat

If you are quoting the NR specs.. The HP specs are higher.

It is a hybrid construction, as is the Carbon.

To compare Dye options you will need to compare with ST - Standard Pro. The NR Classic Charcoal leaves the standard pro in the dark ages.

There are many other options. Maybe price is an issue for you...

Carbon is not a hybrid. It's dyed
