Working on buying tint in the next week or so for the first time and i cannot seem to find what to buy. I have read and read on here and other places but cannot narrow it down. I obviously want a the best quality i can get for a decent price to practice. Tried to look into Solargard but there are more options than i was ready for. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Very excited about learning this trade!

Thanks, Sam

For learning this film is great.

Buy a couple 40" rolls that will work with your local tint laws.

IMO here's a few tool must haves if you haven't bought tools yet:

Blue Max Squeegee

Red Dot Knife

EZ Reach (silver or gold)

Yellow Turbo Squeegee

Hard Cards - I like white and black

White Scrub Pads

Plastic and Stainless Steel 1" razor blades

These are just some basics and when you get into back windows there's a few more you'll need to pick up.

free film is best for practice.  call a bunch of places and ask for samples and most will send you 15 to 30 feet for free.  have plenty here if I train a new assistant.
