96 Civic Headliner Options

The headliner on my 96 civic near the windshield has been I guess you could say, ripped. It's hard to describe, you can see the orange foam under the headliner material. I'll try to post up a picture of what it looks like. Does anyone know how I can fix it so that it doesn't hang an inch or two down? Glue maybe?

You can use spray addhessive. That stuff can be a little messy so if your doing it in the car tap it off and do not push the pieces together until the glue is tacky or else it wont stick to well.

it can't be repaired to look decent. period.

go to an upholstery shop and pay $100 and have a new one installed.

Thats obvious with there being a tear in it but if he just wants to keep it from hanging than just glue it up there.

When it comes to headliners, something like that needs to be removed and recovered. Just gluing it back up is the same as someone coming to your tint shop and asking you to install a scrap piece of film on his glass cause it's torn. Do it right or not at all! $100.00 is cheap to recover a h/liner.

dont spray glue on it it ruins the edges of the board we hate it when customers butch thier own stuff n dont realise it. but shop around theres enough competition out there id do it on a slow day for 79 bucks but reg its 89 bucks

Just make sure they are still in place before you "plop" down in the seat!....OWWWUUCHHH!!!!!!
