I have a 4" Grey Lidco I have been using daily for about 4 years. I tune it with 800 grit sandpaper as needed. I think in a year or so I'll invest in a new one.

Why is the sharpening tool not liked? Does it leave a sharp edge that scratches or what is the main issue with that tool?
