U know that makes sense. But I always peel the top but my films upside down so it is the bottom corner. But the spraying part would help.

when I peel my FG on an adjacent window I do the same thing to reduce the dirt also

I do a bit of flat glass and haven't yet damaged anyone's floor. If you put a towel(or 2) down to protect the floor from the water, it also dampens the pole hitting the floor |

I like using the rollers, I don't usually drop them though, just start out at the ground and lift the film up if it's a ground level window.
