My brother warned me that a lot of late model trucks have a thin layer of clear plastic on them. He said not to razor those ones to clean it.

I was just curious if any of the late model F150s have this? Especially the the 04.

I've never had a problem with tinting them. Do you mean on the factory smoked glass?

sounds like your brother is one of those people who start rumors like "defrosters make the tint bubble".

I do at least 3 a week, and have never sean one yet!! never heard of it grinning_and_saying_no.gif

He said it happened to him once on a tundra. It was the only time he ever ran into it. Just warned me that others might do it.

Okay, I guess I should have said, "some might have" instead of "a lot" in my original post. /shrug.
