Bulldog Remote start not working, 2 yrs later

Hi folks! I wonder if you can help me diagnose the possible causes of this:
I installed a Bulldog remote starter on my 2001 Eclipse GT probably 2 or 3 years ago. I never really used it, and now it's time for me to sell the car.

I tried to remote-start it, and nothing happens. New battery in remote; still no response from car. (LED goes on, on the remote.)

Is there a battery inside the car's unit that might have died?

(It required a security interface so that a computer-chipped-key is stored inside the unit.)

It worked the last time I used the remote starter, but now 2 years later, nothing.

Any thoughts??

Thanks!
John

You probably need to reprogram the remote/s. I don't remember how, but I'm sure you can find something on the web.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
