Full Version: Getting estimates

hmmmmmmm.gif Just moved into new house. In Arizona sunscreen's are very popular. Not sure why. I hate em. (Dirty poop.gif ) Looking for alternative.

Anyway someone pointed me here. I'd like to ask some intelligent questions to the estimater. What should I ask?

Not a big Job. Maybe 9 windows. Various sizes. East and west side of my house.

I hope to reduce heat. And by the way I have Jordon dual pane windows.

Thank in advance.

Let the estimator do the talking. It's not brain surgery, don't let em get carried away with bullshit. Flaugh.gif

bingo.gif They should ask you the questions and present a film that meets your needs.

Just make sure you tell him exactly why you want the windows tinted.

I know that sounds basic, but the shop I used to work for never really asked that of the customer... or at least not enough. We would get to the job with one type of film, talk with the customer for like 5 minutes and find out it wouldn't do what they were looking for.

Granted, that is the job of the person doing the estimate, but while it's not 'rocket science', evidently it could be missed.

Since I'm on my own now, I make dang sure I know what the end result is that the customer is looking for. smile22.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
