Dumbest thing I've done yet.

I am real bad about holding my red dot in my mouth while I move film around, it's just always been easier than putting it in my pouch. This moring I was in a hurry and thought I had it closed all the way but I was apparantly wrong. I noticed quickly the taste of blood, I had cut my tongue on the tip, not that much pain at first but it sux when I eat or drink. Please learn from my idiotic mistake.

I have not cut my mouth YET. I always put the olfa on my mouth when I positioning the film

I learned to retract the blade before I ever learned to park the knife in my mouth. Retracting the blade became second nature to me, but I certainly can see where this type of a situation is just waiting to happen. Might make for a good tip of the week.

Although, I have stuck it in my pants pocket not knowing the blade was out. Went to bend down at a car door to install the film and felt this sharp pain across the top of my thigh. No worries though, just scraped the skin sideways thank you very much Lord.
