I just started tinting the windows on a friends 99 gtp 2-door and got stuck once i got to the front rollups. I noticed that the gaskets seem to be very unforgiving and that heat shrinking is also required. On other jobs i have done i managed to shrink from the inside as i was applying and it worked fine but not on this car. Do you need to shrink from the outside and if so how do you do that since the bottom extends past the bottom gasket so it can be tucked later. I am sure this sounds like kind of a stupid problem but hey just as my name says i am new to this. Thanks for any and all help.

dunno.gif I don't shrink those. Just pull the bottom gasket out.

shrink it on the outside B4 putting the tint on. Move the tint up on the window and shrink only the bottom hmmmmmmm.gif

yeah that gasket was a serious pain. Is it hard to remove

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
