Full Version: 86 jeep cherokee
did a 86 cherokee and had to take out the rear glass it was really easy to take out and just rope it back in. Man there was a ton of dirt in those gaskets
WHEN I GET DIRTY RUBBERS
I'm doing one of these wednesday.
I know there's a black gasket that runs around it that's usually filled with dirt. Does the gasket remove easily? Or how do I get the window out? I took a look at it and it seems if I try to clean it the stuff is just going to run down onto the window.
I usually clean the hell out of the rubber and then mask it off
Don't you have to tuck the tint behind the rubber? Or does it the outside gasket go far enough past the inside gasket that I'll have some room?
Best way to clean it? paper towel and hard card?
Trim it on the inside if you need to. Also you can scrub and then use a shopvac
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. © 1999 - 2009 Ric Wellman All Rights Reserved. Contact: tintdude[a]gmail.com | |||
