Full Version: Tool to make glue application more convenient
This tool works well, especially when the bottle of glue is nearly empty. This tool eliminates the nasty job of squeezing the glue bottle, and saves time during glue application.
It is an oral syringe, available at Dr*g stores. I get many uses out of each syringe, by flushing them with water after use, and storing them loaded with water.
i think that has already been a tip...but it is still a good one exact-0h
beat ya to it.
I use a flavor injector for deep frying turkey
You are the boy.
if you're talkin to Exact-Oh...then the boy...is a woman.
Great tip

QUOTE(blackpearl @ Feb 8 2005, 08:21 PM) Great idea is there a secret to not getting silicone everywhere, for sealing between kitchen benches and the splashback they say to spray glass cleaner on the silicone before you wipe over it with a cloth. Any one tried it? QUOTE(Exact-Oh @ Feb 9 2005, 11:30 AM) QUOTE(tintguy7 @ Feb 7 2005, 09:00 PM) Great tip Exact- Oh, what kind of silicone exactly are you using? i'm not familiar with them. thanks a many! Basically the same type of silicone that you use on bathrooms or for car gaskets. It will probably be easier to find it in black at your local auto parts store. And, blackpearl, that's also a good tip. Only I just use a wet finger. If you moisten whatever you are smoothing the silicone out with, you won't 'drag' the product and get a much smoother application. Could this be done using a merinating syringe used for injecting fluids and goodies into a prime piece of meat. They usually have very small openings that may allow you to lay down a small bead.
I will have to give it a try
