Xploding back jeep glass

An 04 jeep wrangler I tinted a couple of months ago wanted a detailing so as we were getting ready to detail I needed to fix a button on the back that the customer had tightened the bolt to tight and caused the crunch look as I took the button off and started heating and rubbing to the center...KABOOOOM..needless to say the replace was 404.00 and got done before customer picked up Can you believe that glass has a retail price of 1600.00My deduct is 500.00 so 2 days of profit just disenagrated in my shop Ok I feel better..if my camera wasnt broke yaw would be laughing your azz off at the pics ...Man I miss saying another day another dollar this evening .....got an 01 vette tommorrow , can you say gun shy

Suck is right I was bidding on an old 78 Trans Am and that killed my higher bid It happened for a reason ...I would have been high bid and ended up with a piece of more than likely...man a piece of glass just fell on my computer when I rubbed my head

I did that years ago when I did auto. I replaced it myself for much less than that. It only took four bolts plus the handle mounts.

You need to get in contact with the area glass distributor just in case that happens again.
