ok i have never advertsed and i was wondering what kind of low cost as i can run that will help me out? newspaper?
HEY FLOYD ! UNLESS YOUR MARKET IS DIFFERENT THAN MINE ---I'D SAVE THE MONEY ON THE NEWSPAPER AD! IN 17 YEARS I HAVE TRIED ALL SORTS OF NEWSPAPER ADS WITH VERY LITTLE RESPONSE! EVEN OFFERING DISCOUNT COUPONS NEVER PANNED OUT! SPEND YOUR MONEY ON YELLOW PAGES! JUST MY THOUGHT!

yeah i diddnt think the newspaper would work to well but i just want to inform people of my company because its new and maby let them know getting windows tinted is a good christmas present:)

I've never advertised (other than Yellow pages...gotta have a phone right?)
Instead..take some 10" X 3' sheets of glass ..put a couple of shades of tint on them as a demo as illustrated in pic...put them in graphic stores, auto glass shops,sound shops etc with your name on them ,give the owner of the shop "incentive " to keep up the display in his high over head place that is already advertising people to come into his shop ...you reap the benifits, he gets a kickback . everyone wins
that does sound like a good idea.....i have one of my trucks nice and letterd and now ill make my explorer look real nice to catch people eyes......or maby a couple of thoese signs that are cheap to stick on the side of the road.
A little tip ( I used to do this) go to your local shopping center that's busy on th weekends and park your lettered -up truck in a corner in cuch a way that it "stands out" have a banner on it that says "gift certificates available Ho Ho Ho ! " something like that...It's free advertising...everybody has Christmas on the brain ..it works ..tons of free exposure

no matter were you choose to advertise you have to be consistant ,if you just run one or two ads it won't work, you have to run the same ad over and over
Mr P is right ..the rule of thumb is if your weekly :
1st time they don't see it 2nd time they see it and think about it 3rd time they call (the rest is up to you
great ideas
make sure you put an ad in every major phone book in your area even if your are the smallest ad you will get some calls.
from my experience people call the bigs ads first and then they call one or two small ones to check prices
