So basically I find one cannot copy and paste to this site...
I just copied and pasted this.
And this quote came from WordPad.
It's occurred ever since the installation of Java 2 platform at home, but now it occurs at work too. I do all the things I have done before yet now it gives me grief... coincadink... Fockin shiat is beginning to get aggravating...
Happening more times than need be...
Have no clue why, how or when... hits out of nowhere and disappears when least expected. Forces me to spend time typing again, lose it, type again, lose it... bullshiot it is...
You could always type your replies in the reply window
(blade @ Jan 27 2005, 11:50 AM) You could always type your replies in the reply window [*]251884[/*] I was copying them to keep from losing what I typed because it would not post from the reply window.
I'm typing in reply with this one... I just have no clue when I will get refused....
Can't get the error page pic to upload... something very wrong with net communications between my puter at work and at home when accessing td.com.
Might not be jave 2... might be it showed up after subscriber status...
Like you said, it might have something to do with your Java.
I'm beginning to regret Java 2 Platform... it started in and around the time I finally gave into their request to update.
... just looking to see if there is any glitch at your end? [*]251938[/*] ...nothing on this end Dave
It's really wierd... I can go for a days or a couple of hours or minutes and nothing... everything is as it should be, then BAM, I go to post something and it gives me the error message and I lose what I typed.
Just a real pain in the
What exactly does the error message say?
(tintdude @ Jan 27 2005, 01:58 PM) What exactly does the error message say? [*]251945[/*] Let me see if I can post a pic of it... I couldn't earlier...
a different pic just to see what happens
Has to be in the code or language... I can upload a file from weeks ago, but it seizes up when trying to upload the pic I made earlier today of the puter screen with the error message dispalyed.
Just too weird... Time to go ask the IT guys... I can understand them screen CP's stuff, but this is occurring at home too.
I thought you could not cut and paste text.
Please read the error messages carefully, they usually explain exactly what went wrong, such as oversized pic, wrong format etc.

Also, if it was a pic, what was the file size and file extention?
i got that same thing yesterday when trying to load a pic.
but i went back later and it worked. (thetintshop @ Jan 27 2005, 11:31 AM) i got that same thing yesterday when trying to load a pic. but i went back later and it worked. [*]251967[/*] I've gone through all the settings looking for restriction problems, and i can't find anything. I know the board has trouble posting bit maps, maybe that's what's going on
I had trouble last week when I was trying to show my behind.
I started copying my post after writing it in the reply box and holding it till I knew it went.
this was originally posted in the flat glass forum with that title, i moved it in here and gave it an appropriate title
Oh good.
File was jpeg at 47.6 kb...
Good to see I am not alone in what I've seen... the web link I PM'd you, TD, explained what and why the error page comes up and solutions, but the solution seemed too complex for this puter novice. HTTP 403 sometimes comes up when HTTP 401 has occurred... whatever.... it is just frustrating and like BS, I've resorted to copying my post until I know it goes through. Not much fun doing that all the time. It can be a simple reply or a quote reply and I've been denied in fast reply.... Let's see if this one goes...
test...
my guess is the server is having hiccups, and you happened to be posting at the same time.
I cannot duplicate the error. I'm sorry you are having trouble metint.
you all need to talk to the resident nerd he will kow whats up

[*]252035[/*] It did it on this post... It may have something to do with the amount of time it takes to post... the longer you take, the more likely it occurs...
Not getting through
Seems to be time related...
Shorter the post the more likely it'll get through...
Perfect....a good way to keep posts short and to the point.
Metint, have you done regular maintenace on your computer lately? Cleared temp files and all that?
Also, please try another browser, like firefox, it's free and easy to install and doesnt have all the problems explorer has. So until you try those things, you are probably still going to have trouble. You said yourself, this all started when you updated your JAVA I've said it again and again, theres nothing wrong on this side OK?
