1st year - everyones hand in your pocket

so once a month new expense comes up, or at least tries to. from the county selling hazardous material disposal, for fcuking window tint? come on, now. to the most recent. got a letter from the beureau of automitive repair threatening a big ol fine and/or imprisonment if i dont comply.

so heres the catch....

in their letter they list the businesses required to register

"a valid registration is required for any business, that performs for compensation, tests or repairs to, maintenance of, or diagnosis of malfunctions of any of the following automotive or motorcyle components:

a/c transmission
body and fame steering gear
brakes emissions
clutch fuel systems
drive train assy. heater system
electrical GLASS COMPONENTS
engine other automotive or motorcycle components
suspension (not specifically excluded)

type of business not required to register

No registration is required for the following:

a bussiness that services only vehicles other than passenger vehicles

a fleet owner repairing only fleet vehicles

A BUSINESS THAT PERFORMS ONLY MINOR MAINTENANCE SERVICES TO MOTOR VEHICLES.

so my question is......do i fall under glass components or the minor maint. clause?

(none of this may even matter in a few months, for me anyway, shhhh top secret stuff....kerching)

but in the meantime i want to know which personalty i should call em up with...jeckle or hyde.

I don't know, and don't have experience with this particular thing, but I would tell them you do not fall into the requirement catagory. You aren't doing tests or repairs, maintenance to, or diagnosis of malfunctions at all, if you are only tinting glass.

thats the plan... i mean really though...do vynil guys have to have this sh*t. the only difference between them and me is their sticker isnt see through.

anyway you try to come up with an explanation, you still have to pay the 300 dolllar charge every year.

i smell a challenge.... im busy moving this weekend, ill make the call 1st thing monday a.m.
