If memory serves
They require a THIN-Walled 1/4" drive socket on extension.
Otherwise the plastic "well" they sit deep down in will make your socket drag like your on the nut but your just skimming the tip of the hex bolt.

I know , I know, nobody pulls panels smile22.gif
tint bandit
I hate pulling panels ...especially with every tool in the 44 tools cataloge at hand orngbiggrin.gif but I just can deal with all the felt and rubber these darn windows were designed with bat.gif one less obstacle might make me less stressed beer.gif

Yep....What a dumbass design that is...I was looking all over for a socket to fit, but a deep-well, off a 1/4 in drive works.
Sisqouc
2 out of three sockets will not work on that engineering marvel.

I've never had a gasket I couldn't do with the carpet sheilds!!G- Wiz,red devil,
edge works on some!!You mean that didn't work also!! hmmmmmmm.gif Usually the sheild and the smallest of the G-Wiz parts seems to work perfect for me!! I did one 04 GP w/it!! It went fine,I see the car 6 days a week also!! Maybe it's just
my luck!! dunno.gif Flaugh.gif

Maybe I'm talking about some thing else (my bad)!!Let me check If it's
the same ride we're talking about tomorrow!! wall.gif I'm getting old and
a car is a car to me now!!
tintnfool
What's everyone's problem with this car? I would install on those all day long and never complain dunno.gif It's a one beer car if you ask me.
oldtinter
Nobody said it was hard...just a dumbass design on the door panels if you choose to take em off.
Sisqouc
Maybe I need a "speaker wizard" to get them panels off and speakers in. J/K

I love my carpet tape but the 2 I did it was raining and couldnt get the tape to stick enough mainly because the gasket was tight as hellllll..took a dealer car today and pulled the top of the door back and pulled the gasket out just to practice...screw the screws orngbiggrin.gif Thanks for everyones help..sure wish I had started tinting 20 years ago or even 10...I have as of 2 weeks ago been told I have arthritis is both arms and pulling door panels is like benching 300 pounds rest.gif
dumplin
I just did the same car this week , ez car and the bolts are 10 mm, I tried to pry the top but seemed to tight and don't want damage .
TintWizard
I don't get what the big deal is with this topic on this car.

Only a door plug puller required to remove plastic door handle cover, gasket and side rubber trim for easy install..similar to the old saturns dunno.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
