Full Version: 2005 avalon

Mdog
new designed car. doors are like typical toyota and the backglass is pretty flat just like the previous avalon but there is a 3rd brakelight molded under the plastic deck. i managed pretty easily to squeege back behind the 3rd brakelight with a bulldozer. The back of the car is kinda streched so its a farther than usual reach to the bottom of the backglass.

thumbs up for this car thumb.gif pretty easy one.

the panels are cake to remove. screw behind the door handle, screw on the back edge of the panel by the door latch, and a screw underneath the power window trim piece. then they pop right off. thumb.gif

heads up:........the avalon is like the scions in that if the power window is disconnected it needs to be reset in order for the windows to work from the driver's controls. just got the call from the customer. i went to the scion section here...told the customer over the phone to roll the window down then roll the window up and keep the switch held up for 2 seconds after the window is up, and bingo.gif the switch works now from the driver's controls. thumb.gif just another reason tindude.com is the friggin b*mb woowoo.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
