Full Version: DR 25

Was talking to my llumar salesman and asked him why DR25 is only warrantied on applications where there is no miniblinds but it has the same absorbtion rate as n1040.

He called me back yesterday and said that they are probably gonna change the film to glass chart to allow DR25 to be safe for all applications of dual pane glass.

Ain't gonna happen...

Reason being is that the absorption rate for DR25 is 53% on dual pane clear... not 49% as found on single pane clear.

N1040 has an aborption rate between 50-51% on dual pane clear, giving for almost a three point difference.

For this reason it'll remain as is on the F2G chart.

Sorry, it took so long on return reply. thumb.gif

np dood. but hey the warranty for dr says dr35/25

and it says sealfailure and glass shock breakage or somethin like that, so doesnt that mean that it is warrantied for dualpane.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
