I didn't know that like the Ram, these also scratch the tint till I found out the hard way

ripped the film off ..having customer go back to the dealer and have them put in felt gaskets

if you were to take the panels off you would have seen that,,

I took the gasket out TG...it seemed like a real soft material (lots of flex and "give"..you wouldn't have thought it would have scratched like it did

my role of thumb...not felt on the seal..i felt it..not taking a chance of it coming back..but that is just me..

so you dont felt them dude. and wait for the customers to do it.

I had my reasons in this case. (customer related reasons)

i told a guy the other day about this on his new caravan, he almost backed out then he called the dodge place and asked them what they were gonna do if the tint scratched. They told him they would replace the tint if it scratched and that dodge has not made a felt gasket for the caravan. They have not had 1 complaint at that dealsrship yet.

well anyways i got him off our azz if it does scratch. This guy is real picky also he was wanting to know how to to take his door panels off so he could clean the galkets
