These things sound like crap from the factory. This customer brought this one to me for six days. I did all new carpeting, a full sound system, and all new weatherstipping.

The design of the sub/rear speaker box was all done on AutoCAD. It was a challenge 'cause of the lack of space with the convertible top open.

The 5-channel amp is mounted inside the box. There is a window, in the sign of a Chevy symbol, cut into the front of the box and plexi-glassed. A neon bulb inside the box is wired to both the courtesy light (that is covered by the box), and with a switch. So it's on when the doors are open, or whenever he flips the switch.

This is a show car, and the owner is in his fifties. He wasn't interested in big bass or anything, just better sound than stock. Check out the pictures.

Thank you.

These custom jobs pay ok, but I probably would have made more tinting the entire time. He did ask me if I wanted to build in a business card holder for advertising my business at car shows though. I turned him down, thinking that would be a little gaudy, but I know he will tell people where to go.

are those 6.5 ina seperate chamber from the MASSIVE sub?
Exact-Oh
Yeah, they have a small box built behind them. Very short to avoid conflict with the amp.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
