thanx

You really should not have to shrink it, isn't it fairly flat? Some sunroofs do have to be shrunk, but that one doesn't ring a bell. Have you tried to apply it without shrinking yet? Or are you to new at this to attempt it?
blckGAGT02 forgot my passowrd lo
yes i have tried to do it w/out shrinking. there were very large fingers in the film and it was definatly not goin to work
tintnfool
Even if it is laminated glass, you can shrink on top of it.....you just can't heat THROUGH the glass for getting out contamination or a crease.
Sprinter
should be no problem with tinting it, shrink out the fingers and then install it.

tintnfool: how do you heat out contamination?

and it is safe as long as you don't get it to hot....shrinking out a finger will not over heat the glass

I understand that tempered glass can crack at 200 degrees dunno.gif

If you use too dark of VLT, the glass will have a higher temperature.

I don't do sunroofs, or skylights.

Take a lighter and apply it to the film where the crease is. Once the film melts and shrivels from the flame vwalla!! no more crease !! Flaugh.gif

If its minor you can heat the glass on the outside, and squeeze out the crease with a hard card. But if the material is folded over onto its self- restart wall.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
