MINI COOPER S

I am a Cooper S driver and I was wondering what a reasonable price would be to get the entire vehicle tinted. I live in Texas and I know that the limit is 35 front, 35 back, any rear. Knowing this, I would like (preferably) the legal limit and the back as dark as possible to the point where I can still see through it well. I would like to have the iridescent tint where it is like a one-way mirror. What is that option called? Thank you in advance.

Read a little more on this forum about mirrored films. You won't get it, especially if you want it legal. As for price, your probably going to pay $180 - $200 to do the whole thing, minus the windshield of course.

Careful man, you won't get a very good reception for mirrored film, or illegal jobs around here. I wasn't kidding when I suggested that you read some of the other threads regarding the issue. I am just trying to be nice. Others won't be so nice!

Christ, thank you for the advice. Well, the only window I can get mirrored in Texas is the rear? Much to my bloody chagrin...

I am far from Texas, so I don't know the law. Good luck. Those are cool looking cars. Maybe I'm just partial to them because I am a BMW fan. It would look really nice with a basic smoked tint on it.

Thanks. Yeah, that was going to be my next question...which type of tint should I go with and what are my options? I have tried searching but always get tint sellers. Any advice? I have read a couple of opinions from this site about my car and it is confirmed; it is a love-it-or-hate-it design.

Hit the Calalog of Window Tinters link here at TD. Find someone near you, and I'm sure they will have samples that you can choose from.
