TINTED A NEW 06 CIVIC 4DR

Rollups are EASY and the backglass is flatter and smaller than the previous version, more like the new body style accord, not hard to shrink at all, it does have the gay little windows up front that are kinda a pain to get to. There is plenty of room to get behind the 3rd brakelight with a bulldozer or binder cover or clipbpard.

The little window on the driver side was harder because of the steering wheel, the pass was alot easier. it took me proabbly a hour and 15 minutes to tint it.

OHHHHH and i forgot to mention it has the FELTED GASKETS HONDA didnt put the hard plastic ones on this car thank god.

looks like hondas' are making smaller cars every year

the speedo is digital which is cool but the dam thing us WAAAAY up by the bottom of the front window you have no choice but to look at it while your driving

i tucked the seals and untucked them, the front was easy but the back doors were a semi pain to bring back up the gaskets are alot longer than they appear from just looking at them.

panels are cake to remove. screw and push pin behind the door handle and a screw behind the trim piece on the arm rest (it pops straight up and then slides back to come off.)

i just got word from honda that the rubber gaskets will bind like the 03-05 accords if you tuck them. Im gonna try the gasket wizard on them soon and ill let you know as soon as possible.

Anybody tinted a new civic 5dr ?? I've done quite a few now but have had to leave the small plastic window beneath the rear screen ! Looks impossible to tint and have not had a massive amount of time to try many attempts...
Will be amazed if anybody has managed to do a quality job on one !!!
