Tinting Regular Cab S10

I want to tint my s10 windows with a kit and I live in Ohio and I know there are laws for tint. Under Ohio tint law below can I use any shade of tint for my back and side windows on my s10?

OH shows

50% front sides and any shade behind the driver.

50% = very light
35% = medium
20% = close to factory dark
5% = limo black

wish california would allow 50%

So if I use 20% I may get a ticket?

keep in mind those are net figures, gotta figure in the factory glass already gives a minute amount of blockage. may not be able to just slap 50 on tehm fromts and still be legal. im guessing a meter in around 45, glass plus film. still not legal.

your very right about that TR, most cops have no mercy on a few % fluctuation in darkness, although they should give a leaneate 7% for windows with a slight stain, but most don't

i just don't know how you guys who live in those states with such ridiculous laws survive.

here the minimum VLT for front doors is 24% and customers still biatch up a storm and i still lose some of them to local jackasses going darker than that.

Yeah Blade... you have it made in Washington. Here it is 50% up front, and 35% behind the driver. That really sucks, 'cause the manufacturers can get away with 20%. We can't even tint 'em as dark as factory!

I must admit though... our current laws are much better now than they were before they changed 13 years ago. Back then it was !llegal to put ANYTHING on the front two... even clear film. I am pretty sure Illinois is still like that, and Cali. Sucks to be them.
