i got one for ya a few months ago i got a caddie mid 90s with a soft top i go to shrink the tint and every thing looked good. just bout to be done and the customer points out that his roof got 2 little burns in it. so im stressed out already cause i h@te tintn them damn cars n e ways. so u know i told the guy i would take care of the cost of the top. well i couldnt find n e 1 to fix so he calls and tells me he found someone that will do it for bout 2000 bucks but wouldnt tell me who it was so i called around and found the same guy who priced him he tells me 1000 and he told me that the guy wanted all kinds of extras like crome trim and gold buttons and all kinds of other bull @#$% yea that was the most expencive thing i have ever paid for that was not mine what a dick

That's what I call tinting in the RED! Did you try an upholstery repair person $100 bucks tops

That sux dood, sorry about your luck on that one.

I paid for 350 dollar scratch last week, that nobody will fess up to.

You could still see the little piant flecks along side the scratch.
It was fresh.

From now on any mystery damage gets split between us all, I ain't payin for anything else on my own unless I screw it up myself.

I don't like messin with those old vinyl top cars either.
Next time try taping around the outside to deflect a little more heat.

Did one of those yesterday sound like to much heat or not carefull with the tip of the heat gun.

I paid for a Mustang conv. top because of to much heat, the top pulled right off the glass
I kept the glass and shape from it.

yea i bought him wheels cause they were cheeper and i still paid bout 1000

Gee that's bad enough doing the damage but for him to screw you over to boot is shocking.
