Tint Suggestion

Hey,
I gotta spirited bronze 05 maxima and Im getting tint on friday. Im debating on whether to get 35's or 20's... Please let me know in which I should get. Thanks

Im from New York... I know the limit is 35 but I had it on my old maxima and it was too light. Maybe because I had beige interior ? Now I have black interior so would 35's look darker ?

all i'll suggest is stay legal. which also means nothing on the front doors.

ohh okay... are there 25 or 30 % tint available ?

it all depends on what film company that is carried by the installer, the one I use carries 5,15,20,30,35,50 in the hp line. As for ny I'm from cali so I'm not even sure what is legal over there and how strictly they inforce the laws in your area. So use your own discretion.

do you have any pics of the 30's installed on a car ?

not on my home computer sorry, I'm home for the holidays today. But to me the 30 looks quite a bit darker than the 35.

click the link on my signature...lots of pics of 35%, 32%, 28%, etc. we have good laws here so you won't see pics of anything lighter than 38%.

which is why most all of the pros around here reccomend legal tint
.........we dont want to have NY laws in our state, or a federal law regulating tint

hey blade..is that vinyl sticker on your rx8's windshield legal?

it's not there anymore i changed it to a legal tintstrip. nothing worse than customers saying "well, i want it like that"

Alright so I got the tint done today. When I look at the window from a certain angle from the interior, I see many small some type of bubbles. Is this normal ?

i'm sure they must have told you that it will look hazy and dimpled for a few days until it cures. i tell my customers to give it 2 weeks. after that if you see anything strange take it to the shop to have 'em check it. otherwise........just let it cure dude.

I think that dark tint on the sides takes away from the look of the car.
