did you do the whole hood?..
looks good by the way
24" roll did all but the top 2 inches of the hood.
Looks like a good mobile tint shop.... Damn those things are big
Just did one today, it was an '03 though. It looked exactly the same, but this one was a window van. Major square footage.
I don't know how you tucked the seals... they were tight, and probably could be pulled without removing the panel, but it was like a Dodge truck panel that had two screws and lifted off. Simple rear windows, and rear sides, only it had rubber gaskets tight to the glass, so I was glad I had the high pressure sprayer. Be careful though... the window directly behind the driver is larger than the opposite one directly behind the passenger seat (slider window). I double cut all the glass and went to install this one, finding it was two inches too short! QUOTE (GusTheTinter @ Nov 28 2005, 06:17 PM) Looks like a good mobile tint shop.... I've seen many versions of that van, I call em Euro Vans.
Most of the JUTA Vans in Jamaica are the same platform. Lots of room in there. Nice lookin job Blade.
hey exact-oh...i never said i tucked 'em. i said
QUOTE tuck the seals or pull 'em...which ever you wanna do. figure it out on your own QUOTE (blade @ Dec 8 2005, 06:34 PM) hey exact-oh...i never said i tucked 'em. i said QUOTE tuck the seals or pull 'em...which ever you wanna do. figure it out on your own [*]348091[/*] Panel puller! LOL J/K I am too!
Oh, I thought you were sayin' that you could do either. I am a puller, and looked at those thinking wow, they are pretty tight to tuck.
I would love one of those for mobile work. The customer took out all of the rear seats before bringing it to me. It was a dream to tint all the rear windows in the thing... just step up from the back bumper, and I could stand up and walk around in the thing. The only thing I had to watch my head on was the rear AC unit. You could definitely have a full peeling bench in there, and a full stock of film boxes behind it. I would be able to navigate between the bench and the job with ease, being as short as I am.
did one today. total of twelve wondows. two front rollups, two front wings, two barn doors in the rear, four 2x5's, and two 2x4's. this thing was huge.
I have one of those its my new mobile shop. I put in everything but the kitchen sink
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
