3rd floor up you can kinda see which ones are done. it's grey glass so it's kinda hard to tell.
looks like alot of fun there blade.
we plan to have it done by christmas. 2 tinters (me and nick)...1 scraper/cleaner (Ken)
hope you have luck with that...i know how nick (speedy) is...and tell that dam boy to close his mouth...inside joke
Damn that is a helluva building there Blade
Good luck with getting it done by Christmas
Very nice!
Nice hit buddy!!!! You gonna have any time for boardin????
holy crap man you werent kidding
2 tinters and one scraper? congrats on the job
the dude doing the scraping started a few days ahead of us and he's working longer days. he's steaming them with clear liners and moving along pretty damn fast.
just thank god your not doing exterior install doing safety film on all those windows i remember doing that when i was in high school on a local building, the platform we were hanging from kept going side to side downward
Hey Blade,
From what I'm constantly reading, you USA guys have as much if not more film failures that we get downunder. (Or is it something to do with the 10 fold population you have on us so therefore more film up?) How old was that stuff and whose film? Pretty pee poor performance by the sound of it. Nice one to have over winter and to keep you off the streets. the film's about 15-20 years old i think
Daaam nice job, we would love something like that right about now.Oh well I'm burnt out anyway. Is that building in Spokane?
yep...downtown spokane. one of the smaller ones we've done in the downtown area.
awsome dood, nice winter work. We just got done with a 40,000 sq job R&R inside and out. That was a nice one except for the fact that when we were removing the film it was 100 degres outside.

Well how would you like to cut your teeth into this one Blade?
The whole friggin building is like this. Devil
devil did you have fun doing that?
Is that one of Leo's DECO FUNDARTS films ???
yes it was also installation of madicos kynar film on the spandrel pieces. There was film on all the windows on the outside. We installed kynar just to the spandrel pieces and then sl180 to the inside which was also removal.
(TINT @ Dec 9 2005, 09:18 AM) devil did you have fun doing that? [*]348440[/*] Thrilled to the back teeth as we say downunder. You know what we need? well things have changed slightly (for the better). originally we were doing floors 3-8. they're so happy with what we've done they want the bottom 2 floors done now too. i don't see how this job is going to be done by christmas.

went to baton rouge back in May to do an install for a dealer there and it was 3000 sq, 40 foot off the ground with about 54 i think skylights and the other windows were 70x120 and it took 2 of us 3 days working 14 hour days. We had to hurry and get back to town on friday. finished the job at 8 pm thursday night and drove back right after we left the job didnt get home till 4 in the mornin and then had to werk in like 4 hours. That sh|t sucked but it was worth the time.
