Laying the back glass is about a pain isn't it? Maybe not too bad if you pull the back deck though.

BUT it is way better than the other years where you pulled the seats and walls. Lay down seats. Remove two screws. Take a prybar and insert it up under the plastic deck by the screws and push UP to the roof. There are pins/clips MOULDED into the deck and you can see them as dents on the face. I think there are five. Push UP on each. Now take the prybar and slide it under the deck and POP 4 white push pins that are located near the curve down the seat. PULL deck to the front of the car. 4 white push pins will be left in the metal. Pop them out and insert back into deck. Cover speakers and sub with scrap tint. Tint. Remove scraps. Now the PITA. You have to get the deck in real tight to the glass to get the back push pins in. The centre two are okay, but the two on the ends are a MAJOR PITA to get. Pop in the front ones. Now work the moulded pins/clips back into there spot. Replace screws. Do any of you guys/ gals charge extra for that or just chalk it up under the it had to be done to do it correctly category?
thanks for the tizzznip BIG AL
What type of film did you use? I am looking at getting my Nighthawk Black Pearl done in the next couple of weeks.

[*]400145[/*] Pic would be nice. What type and grit of sandpaper?
this tool and a side swiper will be fine to get that bottom done.
800 grit wet or dry sand paper al QUOTE (pierce8468 @ May 24 2006, 07:02 AM) 800 grit wet or dry sand paper al [*]400259[/*] Thanks. Any problem with the antenna in the matrix after sanding?
No complaints yet! I have done 3 or 4 of em so far
I've done two. Don't see the difficulty, but replacing the back glass would be a !@# to remove film.
Hi Al, where do you work? I am looking to get my new Civic Si tinted. Can you reply here or drop me an email at krezton@hotmail.com
