Range Rover 2002

Can anyone give me a step by step guide to removing / replacing this piece of glass.

Any assistance would be appreciated

If you fold the rubber in with your fingers you can just push it out with your hand, you are best to pull it in with some thin rope.

I presume it's the older model on that year??

That so is it the door or the 1/4? The picture I have of the 1/4 is pretty vague, but it could be in a gasket, so just do what the guy above said. If it's glued in, you have to cut it out. If you are trying to tackle a job like this, you should know what to do. As for the door, those are a bit trickier. You have to unbolt the upper part of the door and lift it up to install the vent and door glass.

most likely you will have to pull the whole frame assembly out its a pain but in the long run its better than fighting to sneak it.

As I said, push it out and pull it in with some thick string.
