Full Version: Roland Versa Cam 54

So, I just took the plunge and bought a Roland Versa Cam 54. I got a good deal on it though, 18 grand plus it comes with 2 sets of inks and about 4 rolls of media.

Anyways, for you guys out there with printers I was wondering where you can get some nice clean files from ready to print. Most of the stuff i'll be doing will be customer supplied.

I use Brands of the World for plotting things, but do they have like nice *clean* stock images for printing?

I was just really looking for some general stuff, maybe to print off for my show room. Just looking for some more resources basically. Thanks a bunch!!

Hi,
You'll probably have to pay for decent images - try istockphoto.com

You may be able to find a hi-res cd on ebay or from a sign supply co.

A lot of the discs are for food though.

Also join the forums on roland's website (rolanddga.com) and ask there.

Cheers

It is a print and cut plotter, right?

54" that's awesome! You can do most anything with that machine. Congrats on your new equipment purchase.

All I have is cutting files though. Not sure exactly how the print/ cutters work, file wise? dunno.gif

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
