Full Version: VW Toureg

I have a VW Toureg to do next week, for the tuckers and sliders out there, whats the crack with this one. I have done a few Porsche Cayenne's and pulled ouit the rub rail, a bit messy as the thing can end up like a banana if your not careful. Can you just feed the film in by pulling the rubber back?/

I welcome the heads-up

I didn't know if anyone knew...LLumar produces the exact match to the Toureg's green colored factory glass. Just a heads-up.

oh yes what a pain it was and the last one I will do, if I get a call the price will be 4 times what I would charge on a car.

this is the new version of a 944 you do one and then thats it!

I did an 07 Jetta that ticked me off today. The doors were soo tight and my film kept drying too fast. So I popped the tops of the panels and finished up. Cant recall having any problems with the Toureg. dunno.gif

Doing my first Toureg today.

All the rims are so tight and leave you no room to slide in. Its taking a lot longer than the X5 I just flew in and out in 2 hours.

Rear quarters are very tight and take a couple of goes if you dont have templates.

Juat a pain the ass but what can you do? dunno.gif

Got stuck with the blame on a crack in drivers door panel to the tune of $1300.00!
Glass was replaced by a hack, I did not catch it, and it cost me.
What do people see in this german stuff? at least you can afford to fix an american
heap and keep driving it forever compared to the cost to fix foreign!
Keep buying foreign and wonder where your job went!

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
