Town Car 95 Factory Rear Window Scratch

There appears to be a scratch on the window surface (is there an outer plastic layer on the factory glass?). Where the scratch is, it's now clear, so it appears that a factory tint layer was scratched. The customer wants this fixed first before we tint it. Thanks. How do we repair this scratch?

I could be wrong..but I don't think that 95 Lincolns ever came with "factory" tint .

Assuming this is true , you are dealing with aftermarket tint.

The only way to fix it is to strip off and replace the tint on the back window.
