A few between 35,000 and 40,000 sq. ft. But I know of others who have had much larger projects.

The largest I have done in this area is 25,000 square feet. It was during the peak season six years ago. Three years ago we did 15k and 20k installs back to back.

Your heading is contractors, yes I use them when we are slammed. I have three full time employees and have access to four awesome installers when I need them.

By the look of things, I will be using their services this year

Tint,

There have been a number of 100,000 sq ft + jobs in the Bay Area over the last couple of years. Couple of 3M dealers have done the majority. Generally it's kept rather quiet as dealers tend to be a little protective. Of course with large jobs sometimes come large headaches. If a dealer can do homes all day long at $$ then there way better off.

100K to 150K = 6 months

200K to 300K = 1 year

Very general depending on staffing and diff of installation of course.

Hey, Wait a minute......... I think I know that building........ talked to that property manager just last month......sorry gotta go!

Usually they make you sign a non-disclosure which limits you from even saying that you did the job...

We did a job for large credit card company that was 210,000 sq ft. Took us 3 1/2 months but i have an experienced crew and ran a pretty constant 3 man crew. I also rotated them in and out to keep them from getting burned out on the same site. The bonus was that almost every window was 58 x 71. Also we had access to everything as soon as we started. The maintenance dept moved furniture and always kept us moving into locked rooms or offices as soon as we were ready. It is ulimately going to depend on a lot of factors as to how long it should take.

1. Availability / Accessibility of the building (Could you work saturdays if needed)
2. Who is moving furniture
3. Window sizes (similarities)
4. # Windows
5. How much your guys are motivated to get it done right the first time
6. Precutting film
7. Are there ladders involved.

Of course let me tell you about the best person I ever hired in another post who made this install simple.

Oldhare, good post

All of those need to be worked in for the pricing.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
