Just finished one of these...the weather stripping around the window does pull right out on all 4 doors. But be VERY careful about removing the front corner caps. The post that holds 'em on is a small weak POS. I found this out the hard way. gasp.gif Cake job to tint. Rear window is frameless Fbigeyes.gif

Got one on the way..Thanks for the info..

If you can get the weatherstripping out without removing the corner caps I HIGHLY recommend doing it. I didn't try and then......it was too late. Uhhcopy.gif

I don't know how you could get those speaker covers off the doors without breaking those little posts..rubber came off easily though.,,

We're buying a new speaker for the door couldn't get the post to stay..

Damnit Expert......I'm sorry I didn't help you. wall.gif those things are weak......sorry man....i'll buy you a beer at SEMA beer.gif

It's not your fault Blade..those covers cost 109 ea...what a rip..it's hard to glue the posts back up but that's what were gonna do..Where are you staying?? I don't know if I'll make it..

Okay here's what we did expert. Replace the post into the hole on the door. Where the end of the post would touch the inside of the corner caps...apply warm Sika-Tack Auto Glass adhesive. (The stuff used to install windshields) Apply a good gob of it so that when the corner cap is applied the post will go into it. Tape the cap in place wit ducttape. That stuff will completely dry in an hour and that cap will never come off. They'll be on there better than they ever were before. Hopefully the speaker doesn't go bad... Uhhcopy.gif

We were going to use bondo to dry quickly.I already tried to use superglue and gorilla glue and the post isn't stable..Looks like we'll use your method..I'll get some from a glass co. Thanks and have fun at SEMA..I'll prob not be there so you can get tintgod to pick up the tab..

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
