Where would one go to buy said steamer:) Or an equivelant?

....Just checked ebay. They sell for under $100. Is there anything special I should look for when buying one of these?

Whats actually the best way to remove tint!
Factorytint
It really depends on the tint and the day. Steamers are great but don't work the same on every delaminated piece of film. Plus the burn your hands factor. Sweating is great if its hot outside or if you have a heating lamp (they don't cost allot and will save your sanity during the winter) Of course when neither of those work well you can always place a piece of relief liner on the spots as you go and heat the heck out of it with it wet and when it boils, it will drop off.

Yeah and as for the steamer breaking the glass. if your heat gun wont, the steamer wont. Many people are afraid cause they have heated a windshield before for an eyebrow and if there is a chip the size of bug poo there and you get heat gun heat close to it will crack for sure. but this is to windshields only to my knowledge.

what brands of steamers you guys got ?? power rating ?? any pictures ?? i wanna get a steamer for my shop. ive been told how to use one but never seen one in action.

just to add to it!!!!

it all came off in one big piece

so a streamer is ok by me!!!!!!!

good luck

eyebrows.gif glad it worked out for you, i love the steamer...if the suns out i'll try sweating it first and then hit what doesnt peel off that great with the steamer

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
