1/4 tinted flamed hardened glass

Though tinting for over 26 years now, my experience has been in the automotive side. South Florida requires windows that meet new codes. roughly 1/4 thick glass. The glass stamp says " flame hardened, or heat treated" if I remember right. The glass faces south and does recieve direct sunlight w/o any partial shading. Lu Lu R-15, or Sun Guard Solar 15 suggested, any recommendations?

Single pane do what Dev says.

Dual Pane R-15B and R-15G are not recommended but R-15BL and R-15GO are ok to use.

Go with the R-15

Heat treated is not tempered glass. During scraping process you will notice a carbon film on the glass for that reason you have to change your blade frequently. Last year I did a job here in California for County Offices with the same glass. Most of the glass in that two story building was 4 x 6 , I did have lots of concern before putting R20 but I installed it anyway. In 6 months period I have replaced 3 glass so far. Glass guy is blaming on the film but I must say that it is a very peculiar glass for sure. My recommendation would be stay with R20/ R15.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
