Full Version: Who makes 32%
I just called the tint shop to make the appointment to tint my intrepid, and i said i wanted to go with 35% and he said he doesn't have 35%,he has 32%.I've never heard of 32%..
Sometimes films are named "--- 30" but that does not always mean that it is a 30%VLT film. Ask the dealer what the VLT of that particular film is.

[*]388665[/*] Yep, the wife is an important factor, so is keeping it legal so make sure you obey your tint laws and everyone will be happy. Not sure about the $21.00 difference.
NRTG35 is a kick azz film.
(vclimber @ Apr 4 2006, 08:56 AM) Ah-Ha!!! 39% VLT [*]388658[/*] can't say that for sure since every roll can meter differently. the NRTG35 i have right now meters at 34% right out of the box. [*]388670[/*] True, each roll can differ slightly in VLT. I'm just going off of what Bekaert's Spec Sheet says. You cant always trust the product number, or the spec sheet for that matter.
What's worse is if you get pulled over by a police officer with a well-calibrated meter and a sharp pencil as far as the law is concerned... You may well think that you have a 39% VLT Film or whatever makes you legal and because of the inconsistent run, you are now looking at a ticket.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
